This year we have noticed numerous publications and articles accompanying pictures of celebrities and vox pop interviewees sporting their underwear as outerwear. Corsets have been seen on the outside, from Burberry face Emma Watson at Glastonbury Festival wearing a Burberry (of course) camouflage corset next to to some denim hot pants, to Carol Vorderman in an amazing pink waist-nipping corset dress by Suzanne Neville (usually desired for her bridal finesse) at the extravagant Television Rose d’Or Awards in Switzerland recently. Confidence-boosting shape wear and waspies have turned out to be a woman’s greatest friend this year, and who wouldn’t wish to feel as attractive as Marilyn with her 1950s trend setting style ” having traditional vintage shapes and curves.
