Lingerie comes in many colors, styles and types of garments and a corset is a lingerie garment worn on the body from the chest to the waist giving the body a slimming effect. Corsets were introduced in the late seventeen hundreds and even though they have changed over the years the basic make-up has remained the same. Some don’t think about corsets and basques in this modern day as part of lingerie but these pieces are considered lingerie and are just as sexy as other types.
